About

My name is Wes. I am a husband, father, and bridge engineer in Kentucky.  I am twenty-eight years old.

I typically write about engineering, books, manhood, and adventures in following Christ, being a husband and a father (all with a healthy balance of seriousness and humor).

The title of my blog comes from the fact that I enjoy being an engineer (“part-time” because my work is only a part of my life), and I am called to be an ambassador for Jesus the Christ (“full-time” because my faith should affect everything that I do–2 Corinthians 5:20, 1 Corinthians 10:31).

Enjoy the blog!

  2. Thanks, Buddy.

  3. hey man, I googled “The Love Of Christ” by Derek Webb because I was trying to find the lyrics.

And you’re the only person who seems to have it. I’m glad you have a holistic perspective to vocation and mission.

  4. John,
I’m glad that I could help you find the lyrics to a great song. I found the lyrics in the RUF Hymnbook, along with the guitar chords.
